As part of the 2017 Chicago Architecture Biennial, join Van Alen for Crossroads Conversations, a public program that invites passersby to participate in spontaneous 10-minute conversations. At a time of heightened political polarization, Crossroads Conversations encourages strangers from across the nation and around the globe to reveal multifaceted personal beliefs, provoke robust debate, and find common ground with people who may share differing perspectives.

Participants can sign up on-site to join a brief moderated conversation with a stranger, or listen in on the live dialogue. Advance registration is not required.

The conversations will be held 12:30pm – 1:30pm and 5:30pm – 6:30pm.
