Sandy possesses a background in both finance and the arts. Across disciplines, she is interested in themes of global exchange; community; and shifts in materials, processes, and technology.
Within finance, Sandy has collaborated extensively with institutional and private investors on alternative investments. She is a Managing Director at Kinneret Group, a private investment firm that invests globally for the long term. Additionally, she co-founded Eight Seven Capital, an advisory firm to investors and fintech concerns; worked at the D. E. Shaw group, an investment and technology development company; and started her finance career on a trading desk at Morgan Stanley.
Sandy holds a BA from Yale University and an MA from Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum and Parsons School of Design. Trained in curatorial work, she has taught at Parsons and New York University at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
