The Van Alen Institute is now accepting submissions from professionals in landscape design, architecture, planning, public policy, and other fields to develop innovative strategies for vacant land reuse in New Orleans for its Future Ground competition.
Future Ground will develop strategies to bring small projects to scale at the neighborhood and citywide level; craft policy to support design strategies; make these strategies flexible enough to be sustained into the next generation; and share resources with a network of innovators who are reusing vacant land in cities around the country.
