Five hundred architecture and design luminaries attended the spring party for New York’s Van Alen Institute last night at the High Line Hotel. In attendance were architects such as Elizabeth Diller, Charles Renfro and Toshiko Mori, and art-world figures such as Swiss Institute director Simon Castets, P! founder Prem Krishnamurthy and dealer Frederieke Taylor. Australian synth pop artist White Prism performed; DJ and sound artist Maria Chavez took over the entertainment at the afterparty.
