Dinner || Party || Auction of Art + Design Experiences

The 2016 Spring Party was held at The Tunnel in West Chelsea, a converted railroad freight terminal once home to the notorious nightclub. The event benefited Van Alen’s public programs, design competitions, and research investigations.

AUCTION OF ART + DESIGN EXPERIENCES

In 2016, we launched the third edition of “Possibly the Coolest Art and Design Auction Ever” – T: The New York Times Style Magazine.

The auction featured 20+ one-of-a-kind, international experiences with notable figures like Pritzker Prize winners Rafael Moneo and Richard Rogers, artist Diana Al-Hadid, Golden Lion awardee Greg Lynn of Greg Lynn FORM, architect Winy Maas of MVRDV, voice of “the new generation of architects” Ma Yansong of MAD Architects, lighting designer Lindsey Adelman, and many more.

And, for the first time ever, we launched bidding with three exclusive New York experiences at a live auction for dinner guests at the Spring Party. Attendees bid on these stellar experiences as they dined.
