Following our recent L Train Shutdown Charrette, which invited proposals to mitigate the impact of the disruption in L train service beginning in 2019, we’re serving as a presenting partner in the L-ternative Visions: Reimagining 14th Street and Beyond design contest organized by Transportation Alternatives and Gothamist.

Featuring a presentation by a finalist team of the L Train Shutdown Charrette, this workshop is an opportunity to discuss the Transportation Alternatives “PeopleWay” proposal to prioritize buses, biking, and walking on 14th street, a plan that could double the corridor’s capacity to move commuters to where they need to go.
