Opportunity Space Festival – Malmö 2030

Malmö 2030: Wed Aug 23 13:00 - 14:30 What will Malmö be like in the year 2030? How can we ensure that everyone has access to opportunity and a high quality of life? (Organized by Van Alen Institute, image credit: Nordic Cities Challenge, B&M architects, WSP, Päivi Raivo and Setlementtiasunnot)

What kind of city will Malmö be in 2030? Three presenters will offer their take on three challenges and opportunities facing cities over the next decade, including: the impacts of climate change, accommodating growing populations, and creating socially inclusive communities.

Experts from the design, government, NGO, and real estate sectors will then respond, describing how Malmö can address these challenges and opportunities to shape the future city.

The program concludes with a moderated discussion and questions from the audience.
